Great article! I learned about R.U.R. a couple of years ago, when I had to read it / watch it as part of a university course I was taking. The play still holds up really well!

I was studying a Masters in Science & Religion, and as part of that took a class in “Science & Religion in Literature”. It ended up being one of my favourite classes, and introduced me to all sorts of things I wouldn’t otherwise have comes across, like Karel Čapek’s work.

I just watched a performance of the play that was available on YouTube, not as good as seeing it live but you make do with what you got!
